Keep Your Plants Healthy All Winter Long
Frigid temperatures are here and while those indoor plants are safe from the cold, it’s still important to show them extra love and care this chilly season!
You can expect slow or no plant growth during the winter, and some leaf drop can be “normal.” Here are a few tips to keep those plants thriving:
Move plants closer to windows and add artificial light or fluorescent bulbs to give adequate light.
Make sure plant leaves are not touching cold windows.
Reduce watering.
No fertilizer, no need for extra food until the spring.
Huddle plants together for warmth.
Dust your plants with lukewarm water or wet cloth.
Don’t repot!
